With our headquarters in Denmark and offices worldwide, we are seeking a Senior Dev Ops / AWS & K8s Engineer to take a leading role in scaling and securing our cloud infrastructure to join our engineering team and play a key role in delivering intuitive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces in our Dubai, UAE office. About the Role As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will architect and manage cloud infrastructure, optimize deployment workflows, enforce security best practices, and drive continuous improvement across our environments. You’ll be collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and compliance teams to ensure that our systems remain performant, secure, and scalable. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Load Balancers, IAM, Cloud Watch, Elasti Cache). Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and scale applications using Kubernetes (K8s) . Monitoring & Security: Implement observability tooling (logging, monitoring, alerting) and enforce infrastructure security practices. Certifications & Compliance: Lead efforts to obtain and maintain security certifications (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001). Project Management: Drive Dev Ops initiatives end-to-end — from design through deployment and maintenance. Documentation: Produce clear architecture diagrams and deployment guides for internal teams. Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks and incidents. Tooling Innovation: Recommend and implement emerging tools and best practices to improve Dev Ops efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability. Proven expertise with Amazon Web Services (EC2, IAM, Elasti Cache, Cloud Watch). Strong production experience with Kubernetes (including scaling, upgrades, failover). Solid background in Linux systems administration (Ubuntu preferred) and shell scripting. Demonstrated success in applying for and maintaining security certifications (SOC2, ISO). Experience leading infrastructure projects with clear communication and stakeholder alignment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Nice to Have Experience with microservices and container orchestration strategies. Redis performance tuning (Elasti Cache or standalone Redis). Familiarity with monitoring stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar . Understanding of AWS IAM policies , secure networking, and access control. CI/CD pipeline management (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or similar).
