Job Title: Senior System & Network Engineer Department: Information Technology (IT) Reports To: IT Manager Required Qualification & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). CCNP certification. Strong knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware, and networking protocols. Knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery. Job Description: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and workstations. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaborate with network architects to optimize network design. Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including hardware systems, software applications, and all configurations. Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required. Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems. Replace faulty network hardware components when required. Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection software and email applications. Manage and monitor network security including firewalls and other applied security systems. Conduct regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. Stay current with technological advancements and security trends to ensure system security. Assist in network and system architecture planning and development. Document network configurations, changes, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Hands-on experience with networking, routing, switching, and firewall configuration. Experience with networking technologies, network monitoring, and network diagnostics tools. Experience in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
