Senior Signage & Wayfinding Designer - (188) Location Abu Dhabi, AE (Primary)Dubai, AE Category Senior Job Type Full-time Working Days Job Description We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Signage and Wayfinding Designer to join our landscape architecture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing comprehensive signage systems that seamlessly integrate with outdoor environments, enhance user experience, and reflect the identity of spaces. You’ll collaborate with landscape architects, urban designers, graphic designers, and engineers to develop intuitive, visually engaging signage solutions for parks, campuses, public spaces, and urban developments. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop signage and wayfinding strategies for landscape and public realm projects and enhance visitor experience to outdoor places. Conduct site analysis and user experience research to inform signage placement and messaging. Create design packages including conceptual layouts, typography, iconography, and material specifications. Ensure signage systems are accessible, durable, legible, and aligned with branding and design intent. Work closely with project teams to integrate signage seamlessly into the landscape design. Prepare technical drawings, fabrication details, and coordination documents for production and installation. Collaborate with clients, fabricators, and other consultants to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Oversee mock-ups, prototyping, and site implementation when required. Stay informed on materials, lighting techniques, sustainability practices, and signage technologies. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 7+ years experience in signage and wayfinding design, ideally with exposure to outdoor/public space projects. Strong portfolio showcasing signage systems for parks, streetscapes, campuses, or mixed-use developments. Proficiency in design and documentation software: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop), Auto CAD, Rhino, Sketch Up, etc. Familiarity with signage materials, mounting methods, ADA/Universal Accessibility standards, and environmental branding. Excellent spatial awareness, typography skills, and attention to visual hierarchy and clarity. Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Experience with fabrication processes and construction detailing for signage. Knowledge of local signage codes and standards. Understanding of multilingual signage and regional cultural context (especially in the GCC/UAE). #J-18808-Ljbffr
