Bachelor of Science(Speech Language Pathology) Nationality Indian, Lebanese, British (UK), South African Female Visa, Medical Insurance Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments. Interpret assessment results and provide detailed reports with diagnoses and recommendations. Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, psychologists, educators) to gather information and ensure holistic care. Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs. Deliver one-on-one or group therapy sessions to improve communication skills. Adapt therapy techniques to suit client age, diagnosis, and cultural background. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes. Prepare periodic reports for internal use and for sharing with families, schools, or healthcare providers. Participate in case reviews and update therapy plans as needed. Family and Caregiver Support: Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies and home-based support. Offer guidance and training sessions to enhance carryover of therapy into daily life. Team Collaboration and Development: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Contribute to the development of centre-wide communication programs and outreach efforts. Attend professional development workshops and stay current on evidence-based practices. Desired Candidate Profile The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP works as part of a multidisciplinary team to support clients’ communication and functional needs, contributing to their overall development and quality of life. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (as per local licensing requirements). DHA Licensed/ DHA Eligibility Letter Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical or educational settings Experience working with children and/or adults with a variety of communication disorders. Skills and Competencies: Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Sensitivity to cultural and individual differences. Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and managing caseloads.
