Purpose : We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Engineering Lead who can guide a team of engineers and deliver best-in-class digital products. This role requires someone who is technically strong, highly organized, and ready to lead by example. You will be responsible for driving execution across key projects, setting technical direction, and creating an environment where engineers can do their best work. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to define priorities, remove blockers, and deliver scalable solutions that support business growth. Location Requirements : This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Responsibilities : Leada team of full-stack engineers across multiple product and platform areas. Oversee daily development operations, including sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments. Drive the delivery of technical projects by managing timelines, resources, and scope effectively. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver clear, actionable solutions. Write and review clean, maintainable code and contribute to architectural decisions as needed. Implement and improve continuous integration and deployment workflows to streamline delivery. Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, and secure development. Identify performance bottlenecks and lead initiatives to optimize speed and reliability. Guide the team through incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term fixes. Support team development through mentoring, feedback, and clear performance expectations. Advocate for technical excellence and continuous process improvement. Communicate engineering progress, priorities, and risks to senior leadership clearly and effectively. Experience and Qualifications : 6+ years of experience as a professional software engineer, with at least 2 years in leadership or as a designated Lead Engineer Deep understanding of .NET Core, C#, API development, and backend architecture Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP principles, and scalable architecture practices Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server and No SQL technologies Familiarity with agile development, including participation in Scrum ceremonies Hands-on experience with Dev Ops tools like Azure Dev Ops, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud deployments Knowledge of Git version control systems and modern build tools Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Prior experience in retail, e Commerce, or franchise technology environments is a plus Experience building customer-facing web and mobile applications is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
