Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description Position: Senior Sales Manager You will lead the Sales team of the hotel, analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Responsibilities include: Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to drive business into the hotel and increase market share across all revenue streams Negotiating room rates and packages with corporate, government, and other clients Developing and implementing creative local marketing channels, including social media Preparing hotel contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions Working within current strategies and recognizing potential opportunities Collaborating with other departments to create an exceptional guest experience and comprehensive sales programs Attending sales events as required Supporting the hotel team in the absence of the Commercial Director Producing accurate sales reports and managing team performance and incentive programs Recruiting, training, and developing the Sales team To succeed in this role, you should possess: Good communication skills Commitment to high customer service standards Flexibility in work situations Proven sales experience with a track record of closing sales Preferred qualifications and skills include: Knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry Knowledge of Hilton operations and sales systems Passion for sales and achieving targets Degree-level qualification in a relevant field What is it like to work for Hilton?
