We are building a first-of-its-kind ai media platform.

We are looking for a Head of UI/UX who can design the end-to-end product experience, build intuitive interfaces for a high-speed AI news system, and translate complex automation pipelines into clean, easy-to-use UX flows.

This role requires someone who has built 0 to 1 digital products, understands user psychology, and combines aesthetics with functional clarity.

Role Overview

You will lead the full design vision of the platform across web, mobile, dashboards, and internal tools. This includes user research, workflow mapping, prototyping, interface design, and creation of a unified design system.

You will work closely with product, engineering, data, and content teams to ensure the product feels fast, intuitive, and reliable for creators, editors, newsroom teams, and operational users.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Experience Architecture

Lead user research, persona development, and workflow studies

Map out full product journeys from trend detection to video output

Conduct usability testing, A/B analysis, and UX audits

Use tools such as eye-tracking, Tobii heatmaps, scroll maps, and behavioral analytics to validate designs and reduce friction

Product Design & Interface Development

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma

Build and maintain a scalable design system for web and mobile

Define interaction patterns, typography, motion, and micro-interactions

Ensure the entire product ecosystem feels unified and consistent

Design Systems & Standards

Build a component library that supports rapid engineering development

Maintain UI/UX standards across dashboards, tools, and user-facing interfaces

Implement accessibility, responsive behavior, and global design best practices

Work closely with product managers to define features and requirements

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth handover, specs, and implementation

Partner with AI and content teams to optimize interface flows for:

Real-time trend monitoring

Present design decisions to leadership and drive alignment

Quality Assurance

Run UI/UX reviews with engineering before feature releases

Monitor live user behavior to identify friction points

Use eye tracking and heatmap insights to improve layout, clarity, and engagement

Establish UX KPI metrics for usability, time-to-task, and adoption

Required Skills

Core UI/UX Skills

Strong experience designing 0 to 1 tech products or MVPs

Expertise in Figma, prototyping, user journey mapping, and interaction design

Hands-on experience with eye tracking tools such as Tobii, heatmaps, and scroll maps

Deep understanding of information architecture and user psychology

Ability to convert raw, complex workflows into simple UIs

Experience building design systems from scratch

Strong visual design sense across layout, spacing, typography, and hierarchy

Research & Analytics

Experience with usability testing, interviews, journey mapping, and analytics tools

Familiarity with behavioral data tools: Hotjar, Full Story, Clarity, Mixpanel

Experience running UX experiments to improve feature adoption

Technical Collaboration

Ability to work closely with engineering on implementation specs

Familiarity with responsive design, performance considerations, and frontend constraints

Understanding of AI-driven or multi-step workflows is a plus

Bonus Skills

Experience designing for media, news, AI, or content-heavy systems

Background in dashboards, analytics products, or workflow tools

Knowledge of text-to-video, avatar platforms, or real-time content interfaces

Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, or illustration

Experience in early-stage startups or fast-paced product environments

Soft Skills

Ownership mentality — you lead the entire design function

Strong communication and ability to explain design decisions clearly

High attention to detail with a bias for clean, simple design

Comfortable with rapid iteration cycles and feedback loops

Ability to balance user needs with product and engineering constraints
