You are an experienced Senior AWS & Linux Engineer with a robust background in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. Your expertise encompasses a strong understanding of AWS services, Linux server administration, and security best practices. Your communication skills and client relationship management abilities set you apart as a leader in your field, making you an invaluable asset as you collaborate with internal teams and clients alike.
Job Description:
In this newly created position, you will have the flexibility to work from our corporate offices in Milpitas or remotely. Your role will involve leveraging your technical skills to build and optimize our cloud infrastructure while ensuring system security and performance. You will collaborate closely with clients to assess their needs, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration of cloud systems. Our environment includes:
AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and Cloud Formation
Linux operating systems, particularly Cent OS and Ubuntu
Automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Requirements
Proven experience with AWS services and architecture
Strong proficiency in Linux server administration (Cent OS, Ubuntu)
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) for configuration management
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols in cloud environments
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch, ELK stack)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At least 5+ years of experience working in systems administration or engineering roles
A relevant AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus
Experience in working with CI/CD processes and Dev Ops methodologies is a plus
