Job Description The Customer Project Manager ensures customer projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Contains projects throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion / care / operation. Comprises management of customer (and all stakeholder) relationships and expectations during the contract fulfilment as well as project team members / resources. Contains project risk management and driving of improvement actions to secure project gross margin and upselling and cross-selling. This role sits within the Cloud and Network Services Business Group, Enterprise Market Service delivery unit, which supports cross-functional/geographical projects and programs and aligns them with business objectives and strategies. In a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, the Enterprise Customer Project Manager will collaborate with the various interfaces to ensure delivering within the target scope, schedule, quality and contractual metrics. The successful candidate must have a strong background in project management with proven customer management skills to lead complex projects effectively.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Enterprise Customer Project Manager is accountable for seamless customer delivery for the assigned projects with medium/large business volume and/or medium/high complexity.
- The Enterprise Customer Project Manager is responsible to manage all CNS BG deliveries (including HW, SW and Services) to the customers in his projects with the focus on Enterprise WAN projects.
- Senior interface to the Customer for Nokia Delivery organization, taking care of overall customer delivery cycle including but not limited to planning, executing, customer satisfaction, and managing escalations where applicable.
- The Enterprise Customer Project Manager leads the Core Project Delivery Governance towards the Customer including but not limited to, establishing customer relationship and communication matrix, change control, execution performance reviews, Customer Senior reporting.
- Leading a team of Technical Managers and Solution Architects, directing and unifying their efforts towards achieving the ultimate goals of the project.
- Empowered to work with the CNS Enterprise GBC Sales and the support functions, Legal, Finance, Logistics, as well as other BGs to achieve the business plans.
- Identify business opportunities (e.g., upsells, CRs) and coordinates with CNS GBC Sales to increase the transparency of delivery performance across Nokia’s offering process.
- Responsible for Delivery management in “Execute process” from deal to cash, with empowerment of the contractual commitments and Nokia handover Gates.
- Responsible for contracted business aggregated financials (revenues, sales margin, costs and cash collection of HW, SW and Services), relying on BG Domain Delivery Manager’s and third party contractor’s accountability for the business operations and financials in their respective domains and solutions.
- Accountable on the project portfolio performance and services performance reviews and governance, leveraging existing BG best practices to ensure efficiency and avoid duplication.
- Represent the project in the CNS BG Governance meetings (ORM, BRM, etc.), and provide inputs to MU/Market level governance. Provides input for Operational Dialogs at different management levels across Nokia.
- Guiding and securing delivery resourcing. Empowered to steer forecast and performance management. Collaborating with BG Delivery teams working permanently or on assignment for the projects in his/her portfolio domain.
- Anticipating foreseen risks in the project and building mitigation plans up to the best interest of Nokia and its customers.
- For Key projects, the Enterprise Customer Project Manager might act as Nokia SPOC towards the customer for all delivery aspects related to CNS BG including the multiple CNS BUs / BLs and also other involved BGs.
General Responsibilities:
- Leading CNS Core Project delivery and Care for key customers.
- Interfacing senior level in customer organization.
- Leading team of Technical and Integration Managers.
- Leading key project as Project Manager.
- Determines delivery approach alternatives and manages the selection of the final recommended approach to delivery.
- Financial ownership for revenue, margin.
- Ensures that the projects are delivered in scope of contractual obligations and within forecasted costs, time, and required quality.
- Responsible for the overall program success including health & safety control activities, and operational services delivery performance.
- End-to-end project planning and risk and opportunity management.
- Ensures data in all project related tools and repositories are kept up-to-date with high quality.
Key Skills And Experience
Required Skills:
- Proven record of competence in delivering Telecom Core projects, applicable for Enterprise customers.
- Technical Knowledge of the Nokia Cloud Core solutions; Packet Core, Subscriber data management, Registers, Voice core, Analytics, Subscriber Signaling and policy, IP Telephony, Cloud infrastructure management and orchestration, Digital Operations, Charging, Billing, Mediation, Legal Interception, as well as other Supplementary solutions and ecosystems.
- Technical Knowledge of the Mission critical networks and applications, Push to talk, Push to Video, Evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services, Drones, AI, VR, CCTV.
- Previous experience in similar role with senior customer interaction.
- Proven managerial skills to create high-performing teams.
- Strong Project Financial and Governance management.
- Proven record of leading teams onsite and remotely with minimum 10 Years of experience.
- Fluency in English is crucial, Arabic speaking is highly preferable.
- MBA is a plus.
