Technical Support Engineer- Hospital Information System- Kuwait

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

1. Providing system support services during company working hours and after working hours (24x7 support) as may be required by the company.
2. Administering and ensuring continuous operation of the Health Information and related systems.
3. Coordination with internal teams for system maintenance and other activities.
4. Assisting the client in generating the required reports using SQL queries from the database.
5. Assisting hardware engineers in resolving system-related issues.
6. Providing advice and information to users on system functions.
7. Documenting details of all amendments made to the system.
8. Providing technical and functional implementation services during the implementation of a new release.
9. Providing other support services as instructed from time to time by the superintendent.
10. Testing the system compatibility with new OS release.
11. Adherence to client internal policies.
12. Coordination with INFOSEC team for system audit, risk assessment, vulnerability findings, etc.
13. Issue reporting to the vendor and maintaining records of logged issues.

1. B.Sc. in computer engineering, computer science, or related areas.
2. Proficient in administering Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and SQL Database Administration.
3. Microsoft System Administration and ITIL certification.
4. Adequate SQL knowledge and knowledge of programming is an advantage.
5. MEDITECH HIS Training and Certification (preferable).
6. Minimum six (6) years’ experience supporting Hospital Information Systems, related activities, and experience in the system, inclusive of participation in at least one successful implementation of the system.
7. Good interpersonal skills and amicable disposition.
8. Fluent in English and preferably knows Arabic as well.
