Responsibilities:

  1. Enable Sales Team to act as a first-class ambassador of the brand – proactively follows the Sales Process / Methodology.
  2. Establish daily routine to remind team on key sales success factors.
  3. Provide excellent professional work environment to support sales team in all directions, all displays and accessories, catering available. Maintain the showroom structure at a high level (floor, paint, lighting signboard…) and actively work against the budget plan.
  4. Secure teamwork and organize best practice exchange between sales team members.
  5. Supervise and manage the Showroom in all aspects to provide a professional sales environment.
  6. Train Sales team about new kitchen designs/features and appliances.
  7. Secure maximum turnover to the company and avoid approaches by suppliers to gain business through company client contacts.
  8. Jump in sales process where salesperson comes to the limit in client negotiations, acting as higher authority to underline the importance of client relationships.
  9. Make provisions to apply the sales budget, monitor the showroom performance, and discuss corrective action if required.
  10. Ensure that walk-in customers are seated with the Sales team desk.
  11. Actively monitor updates about kitchen and appliance displays in the showroom, ensuring discontinued kitchens are removed and checking with the Appliance Department to only have appliances in stock displayed.
  12. Ensure promotion material and promotion sign boards are installed in a timely manner, and that the Sales Team is aware of the details of the promotion.
  13. Conduct random checks on measurements and kitchen design in cooperation with salesmen.
  14. Ensure technical precise and complete Purchase Order documentation, establishing a review routine to avoid time-intensive and costly revisions later – maintain quality focus on this matter with salesmen.
  15. Establish best practice review – remind every Salesperson about the key elements to successfully close a contract (Sales Methodology).
  16. Conduct regular coaching and training sessions (daily, weekly, monthly) to remind the sales team about sales methodology.
  17. Revisit showroom outlook and design details, discussing possible changes with the sales team.
  18. Secure collection of contact details of walk-in customers who do not spend time to receive kitchen design – to allow follow-up marketing activity.
  19. Check on follow-up activity by each Salesperson – help to focus on follow-up.
  20. Ensure the showroom is in the best condition, clean, tidy, and all kitchen displays are 100% well installed.
  21. Secure compliance to the monthly store checklist carried out by Line Management.
  22. Ensure proper documentation of the (down-) payment process, especially on full customer details on checks collected. Complete customer files and secure proper filing in the showroom premises.

  24. Maintain petty cash, secure expenditure record, and send regularly to finance.
  25. Take strict measures to avoid the approach of suppliers to gain business through company salesmen, especially appliances suppliers.
  26. Contribute to the development of company vision, mission, and corporate strategy to ensure the company maximizes its short, medium, and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders.
  27. Contribute to the translation of the company’s overarching strategy into business plans for the function and ensure that performance is effectively monitored and managed to achieve COMPANY and the function's strategic objectives.
  28. Monitor that the team follows the policies and procedures in their dealings.
  29. Ensure that there is an appropriate internal control framework in place within the Company to effectively manage Key Business Risks.
  30. Ensure that the Company operates in an environment of strong Corporate Governance and ensure timely and effective compliance with all audit obligations (internal or external).
Skills:
  1. Essential: bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  2. Preferred: master’s degree in a related field.
  3. Natural leadership habit, gains authority easily.
  4. Technical and commercially updated on recent developments to be a technical and commercial consultant to the Sales team.
  5. Good personal 3D dimension projection capabilities.
  6. Understand differences in furniture materials and have knowledge about their different technical capabilities, able to argue differences' advantages/disadvantages.
  7. Good handwriting and technical hand drawing abilities.
  8. Able to make precise room measurements and create quick kitchen sketches.
  9. PC savvy, working on different Windows PC-based systems.
  10. SAP Business One experience would help; 3D Design software experience desired.
  11. Advanced Windows Office user.
