Software Developer Sr

Overview This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. The successful candidate should have data-analytics algorithm development experience, communication skills, and both front-end web and back-end engine development skills. Must own duties that evolve from software and algorithm design to HTML/CSS prototypes to finished digital product. Responsibilities include development, maintenance, and support of in-house web applications, development of intranet and internet webpages, and creation, operation, and maintenance of SharePoint sites, in addition to development of SharePoint-based applications. The ideal candidate must be proficient with XML and have an understanding of Rules Management in Maximo. Should be skilled in inbound and outbound integration processing, XML, Schemas, and XML Web. • Development using C#/Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript & associated frameworks, databases, and backend technology
• Development of standard and nonstandard analytics, including statistical and graph analytics, machine learning, and deep learning
• Work with the team to gain an initial understanding of the desired solution and iteratively develop and refine the UI and backend
• Participate in product development from concept to execution to launch to ensure the product fully serves the needs of the end user
• Team collaboration

• Provide technical assistance and support as required
• Develop and maintain software modules of web, database, and work collaboration applications
• Maintain software program standards and procedures for software development projects
• Assist with defining requirements, recommending solutions, and implementing desired solutions
• Recommend and coordinate resolution of software problems when discrepancies are identified
• Advise project teams in the use of software engineering technologies, providing instruction, consultation, and guidelines on software
• Provide continuing investigation of methods to improve software quality and software development productivity
• Development and management of intranet and internet web pages
• Create and publish on local intranet/SharePoint site local home book/contract information
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required. Use the guide below to determine education and experience for this position.
• Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Engineering, Science, or a similar field and/or equivalent work experience. IT-related certifications are desirable.
  • Must be a US National
  • Must have a Valid Home Country Driver's License to be able to obtain Host Country Driver's License
  • Must have an Active Security Clearance and be able to maintain it
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks and writing tests
  • Proficiency in common development tools, such as Git and DevOps
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate orally in English with a high level of proficiency
  • Must possess a proficient level of computer skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • 5-7 years’ experience developing and maintaining web servers in a Microsoft Environment Servers and SharePoint
  • 3-5 years development experience with VB, Java, .NET, or equivalent tools
