Process/Quality Improvement Manager, Leading Energy/Utilities Company

Process/Quality Improvement Manager is required by a leading energy/utilities company to play a key role in a continuous improvement program. You will primarily be responsible for identifying, establishing, and implementing Business Excellence and Process Improvement initiatives as directed by the Managers of Quality, Process Improvement, and Business Excellence. You will take the lead in implementing and maintaining the Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety systems in a variety of departments and business units within the company. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
  1. Lead all Business Excellence Initiatives.
  2. Promote and drive all Process Improvement initiatives within business units and departments.
  3. Implement and maintain Quality, Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety Management Systems.
  4. Plan, initiate, and conduct internal audits and report on all compliance and recommend improvement actions.
  5. Suggest, develop, implement, monitor, and maintain all employee rewards schemes and corporate social responsibility programs.
Minimum requirements include:
  1. A graduate preferably in Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 9 years’ experience in a senior supervisory role, with at least 5 years in Quality or Business Excellence.
  2. Qualified in Six Sigma, Lean, QFD, and Kaizen methodologies with Black Belt qualification.
  3. At least 3 years’ experience in implementing Six Sigma - Process Improvement/Business Process Reengineering projects in the Process/Service Industry.
  4. Experience in Business Excellence, Quality Management, and Customer Relationship Management is desirable.
  5. Internal auditor qualifications in Quality/Environment/OHS management systems are desirable.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
