Job Purpose The Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and implementing regulatory compliance across the insurance company's operations. This includes developing policies and procedures, conducting audits, training employees on compliance matters, and ensuring the company's adherence to the Insurance Authority (IA) regulations and other relevant insurance laws. The Compliance Officer will collaborate with internal departments to address compliance issues, maintain regulatory filings, and safeguard the organization from legal and reputational risks. Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular reviews to ensure policies are updated and adhered to across all departments.
  3. Monitor and ensure compliance with IA regulations, insurance laws, and industry standards.
  4. Handle regulatory filings and coordinate with regulatory bodies to address compliance-related inquiries.
  5. Identify compliance risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  6. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  7. Combating the financial insurance crimes (ML/TF/Fraud/Corruption).
  8. Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees to enhance understanding of regulatory requirements.
  9. Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
  10. Investigate potential compliance violations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  11. Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  12. Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance measures are effectively integrated into business processes.
  13. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) or equivalent are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance or a related field, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of IA regulations and Saudi insurance industry laws.
  • Experience in developing compliance policies, conducting audits, and managing regulatory filings.
  • Experience in Compliance related functions (Anti-fraud, Anti-Corruption, AML & CTF)
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
