Designing and delivering added value energy solutions is what we do. About The Job We are currently seeking a Cost Control Assistant to join our Cost Control team based in Doha, Qatar. About The Role: Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:
- Set up cost control procedures.
- Establish budgets and the specific tool to monitor project costs.
- Estimate Total Forecasts, Quantity/Costs, and Expected Outcomes.
- Provide risk analysis on EPC contracts, whenever required by the Project Manager or Chief Operation Officer (COO), to identify items with significant cost impact.
- Control commitments and approve vendor/subcontract invoices.
- Assist Project Managers in optimizing and improving their budgeted profits.
- Prepare change orders/claims and follow up.
- Generate monthly internal PMR/external status reports (Client reports).
- Develop cash flows on a monthly basis.
- Verify invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Develop statistical and close-out reports to improve feedback data and estimation tools for future contracts/proposals.
- Comply with and implement both company and client HSE management system objectives and procedures.
- Adhere to corporate Quality standards as stipulated in the Quality Manual.
- Follow applicable company procedures for the department as documented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
