PR Account Executive oversees the company's media communications by drafting press releases, organizing PR events, and maintaining good relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to media strategy and plan development.
  2. Support day-to-day account management execution of the strategic PR plan.
  3. Compile and constantly update a document of media profiles and editorial calendars.
  4. Research support for plans and proposals.
  5. Media and influencers planning and execution.
  6. Develop media & influencer lists, media and influencer recommendations, identifying the right media and creating media lists.
  7. Manage and update WIP weekly report.
  8. Maintain and update a comprehensive media and influencer database.
  9. Support brainstorming and proposing creative ideas.
  10. Build and maintain an up-to-date archive of relevant assets.
  11. Maintain updated press office and media press kits.
  12. Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch media interviews.
  13. General administrative support.
  14. Draft and disseminate press releases and media follow-ups.
  15. Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage.
  16. Support with planning and execution of press launches, press conferences, roundtables, and media and public events, onsite support and event logistics.
  17. Support with media inquiries.
  18. Activity report, analyzing the outcome to ensure effectiveness of public relations campaigns and reporting the findings to management.
  19. Maintain an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.
  20. Media and social media monitoring and reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a relevant field.
  2. At least 1 year of experience working in the public relations industry.
  3. A portfolio of successful client work.
  4. Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies.
  5. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media.
  6. Superb written skills and knowledge of press release style guides.
  7. Solid organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
