Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of travel services, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, clients, and team members.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase customer satisfaction and enhance service delivery in travel and tourism.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports, tracking expenses to ensure profitability while maintaining high service standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns that effectively reach target audiences in the travel sector.
  • Establish strong relationships with travel vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality aligns with company objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of travel consultants, providing training and support to enhance their performance and career growth.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics, using data-driven insights to drive improvements and optimize resource allocation.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, enhancing the overall client experience and fostering loyalty.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the travel and tourism industry is required.
  • Proven track record in budget management and financial oversight, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  • Certifications in Travel and Tourism Management or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical skills in travel management software and CRM systems to streamline operations and enhance customer service.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage teams and engage with clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving and team motivation.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people and understand their travel needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate the fast-paced and ever-changing landscape of the travel and tourism industry.
