Position: Food Products Purchasing Manager Location: Abu Dhabi Duration: 2 Years He must have experience working on food products with the highest demands in the market like (Oils, all kinds of spices, Food sauces).
Responsibilities
A Purchasing Manager is responsible for evaluating suppliers and negotiating to achieve the lowest price for high-quality goods. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:- Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents.
- Experience leading a team and discussing contracts.
- Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept, and which vendors to consider.
- Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability of goods and services.
- Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and organize.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within the background of the global markets like India and China.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices.
- Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques.
- An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
