Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to implement technical plans and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled workers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used on-site to facilitate project budgeting and reporting.
- Schedule and supervise work shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Implement and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures, promoting best practices in technical operations.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operate efficiently, overseeing routine checks and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and any potential delays or obstacles.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a foreman or supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes specific to the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly assessing situations and implementing effective solutions.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse team and fostering a positive work environment while meeting project deadlines.
- Relevant certifications in safety management, such as OSHA or equivalent, are highly advantageous.
