The Field Service Engineer is part of the Service Team and reports to the Service Team Leader. Main Accountabilities:
- Performing service tasks as supervision to erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of water treatment packages at field;
- Coordinating effectively with Service Team (based in Italy) for monitoring of site activities, follow up of technical issues, delivery of materials at site;
- Identifying technical issues, performing troubleshooting and providing recommendations to improve field activities / package operation / customer service;
- Providing timely report to Unidro Service team and to Client representative at site;
- Maintaining good relationships with site personnel of Contractors and End Users;
- Ensuring timely response / assistance to meet Client's requirements and expectations;
- Providing technical instructions / training to Client's personnel at field;
- Applying safety rules and safe practices as per Unidro HSE policies and Client's instructions.
- University Degree in Engineering or Technical High School Diploma;
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in service, maintenance, commissioning of water treatment plants;
- Good mechanical attitude.
- 5+ years of experience as Field Service Engineer for water treatment plants;
- Knowledge and experience in the Oil & gas / industrial sector / EPC projects is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Italian (knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus);
- Ability to travel abroad without geographical restrictions, including off-shore installations;
- Attention to details, excellent communications skills;
- Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
