Financial Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Financial Accountant to provide essential operational support, focusing on accounting tasks, payment processing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.Responsibilities
- Support finance manager and director in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Assist with the input and processing of payments in compliance with company policies.
- Manage invoicing, follow up on payments, and resolve discrepancies with clients and vendors.
- Provide administrative and operational assistance in managing routine financial tasks.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
- Support the preparation of financial records and documents for internal audits.
- Assist in generating management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Verify financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
- Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Zoho).
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Desire to relocate and work in our Abu Dhabi office.
