Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Financial Accountant to provide essential operational support, focusing on accounting tasks, payment processing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Support finance manager and director in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Assist with the input and processing of payments in compliance with company policies.
Manage invoicing, follow up on payments, and resolve discrepancies with clients and vendors.
Provide administrative and operational assistance in managing routine financial tasks.
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
Support the preparation of financial records and documents for internal audits.
Assist in generating management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Verify financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in accounting or a similar financial role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and standards.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of data.
Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Zoho).
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English.
Desire to relocate and work in our Abu Dhabi office.
