Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financials, for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with IFRS and GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Prepare accurate regulatory filings within specified timelines.
- Provide financial data for internal and external audits.
- Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with departments and review departmental budgets and track actual expenses against budget.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain appropriate internal controls.
- Review and analyze financial contracts, agreements, and pricing structures.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's goals.
- Assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Support business development initiatives by providing financial analysis and modeling.
- Assisting in filing VAT / local tax / corporate tax returns for all GCC and US entities.
- Reviewing sales reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis to ensure sales are accurately recorded for internal as well as external reporting.
- Reviewing banking records to ensure all expenses and incomes are accurately recorded in the books of accounts.
- Reviewing payment gateway reconciliations for all payments gateways and reporting discrepancies in charges / amounts remitted on a regular basis.
- Verifying and approving all accounting vouchers to ensure all entries are correctly posted in the system.
- Preparing and posting fixed and variable payroll for group entities.
- Verifying and approving all VISA expenses to ensure they are correctly recorded in the system.
- Preparing all details and regular coordination with auditors to complete yearly audits.
- Maintaining other such workings and trackers required in day-to-day accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in a corporate setup in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero is an advantage.
- Candidates with prior experience with Tech companies would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GCC tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
