Job Summary: Responsible for managing the production of quality products at the right cost and delivered within the agreed times, along with managing and coordinating the shift and employees. Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Production Manager in planning and organizing the shift employees in achieving daily production targets.
  2. Monitoring and ensuring that all personnel adhere to work instructions and procedures.
  3. Assisting in the production process for different processing lines of meat and seafood.
  4. Increasing employee morale and handling queries of shift workers related to personal health matters, accommodation, and yearly leave requests.
  5. Ensuring processing staff adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
  6. Monitoring attendance and employee time management, ensuring weekly timesheets are correct.
  7. Participating in the maintenance of operational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and regulatory guidelines for all activities.
  8. Ensuring customer service levels by producing quality products within the agreed timeframes.
  9. Coordinating with the Quality Team to ensure customer complaints are investigated and corrective action is completed.
  10. Coordinating with the Maintenance Team to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out on all equipment and that operators have the necessary training regarding preventative maintenance and operations.
  11. Performing any other assignments as required by the Production Manager.
People Management:
  1. Ensuring employee development through training, mentoring, and providing skills development.
  2. Increasing employee morale and handling queries of shift workers related to personal health matters, accommodation, and yearly leave requests.
  3. Ensuring processing staff adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
  4. Monitoring attendance and employee time management, ensuring weekly timesheets are correct.
