IT Lead - Kuwait City - HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L

A leading technical role overseeing digital initiatives and managing the IT landscape of POS systems. The Technical Lead will own the design of the IT landscape, establish architectural principles, and ensure rigor and integrity of enterprise architecture. With a strong understanding of retail business frameworks, technical architecture, deployment processes, and ERP integration, this role will lead development projects and drive continuous improvement. This position will be based in Kuwait, managing a local team and development partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web solution architecture, lead a team of developers, and deliver solutions.
• Provide consulting and development support for enhancing current systems with new features and functionalities.
• Perform core development tasks tailored to meet specific business requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective engagement with senior Business managers of Retail and IT units.
• Lead the development of technical skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
• Introduce structured techniques and ensure adherence to design and development methodologies.
• Develop technology roadmaps relevant to the business and facilitate timely execution.
• Plan and implement long and medium-term systems architecture strategies.
• Set standards and policies governing architecture and design of solutions delivered by vendors.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve systems scalability, reliability, and performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or IT with a solid technology background in web/software development.
• At least 7 years of experience in development, architecture specifications, object modeling, database design, programming, and implementation support using Microsoft .Net technology.
• High proficiency in N-tier Web application and Web API development, 3rd party integrations, and UML knowledge.
• Experience in designing and maintaining database structures, including SQL Server.
• Development and maintenance of n-tier MVC web applications and Web APIs.
• Integration of third-party systems and services.
• Desirable: functional knowledge or experience working on Point of Sale and ERP Application.
• Desirable: knowledge of .NET Applications integration with SAP Functional modules.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, XML, Bootstrap CSS, UI design, and Reporting.
• Strong experience in GIT version control usage.
• Ability to manage end-to-end software development cycles.
• Experience in managing development teams.
• Analysis of 3rd party tools and applications for utilization.
