We are looking to hire a Senior Environment Engineer. This position is based in Doha, at QatarEnergy Head Quarters, with the HSE Team supporting our offshore Asset.Primary purpose of jobTo ensure compliance and implementation of environmental management such as consent to operate (CTO), environmental parameters, studies and monitoring related to environmental performance and management.This includes tracking and reviewing environmental management related data including air emission, environmental air quality, waste management, water related monitoring, Green House Gas and flora and fauna in regards to asset operations.Participates in strategic planning activities for environmental issues and develops fit for purpose environmental compliance programs.The Sr. Environmental Engineer is responsible for supporting the Head of Environmental and regulatory affairs in relation to the environmental management for the asset. Participates in activities relating to environmental issues resulting in continuous measurable improvement and implementation of fit-for-purpose environmental compliance programs.Experience & Skills15+ years of total experience with 5+ years as E / HSE supervisory position or consultant/auditor/tutor internally or working for a consultancy/audit firmBroad knowledge of HSE laws and regulationsBroad knowledge of Environmental aspects within offshore Oil and GasBroad Knowledge of MS StandardsExcellent written and spoken EnglishExcellent presentation skills with multi-discipline backgroundAbility to multi-task and work independentlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environment or SciencePost Graduate Degree in Environment is a Plus
