Job Description
Supporting Hardware Design Engineering through the functional safety requirements upon component selection, sub component design architecture and analysis to provide compliances.- FHA/SHA Analysis for Hardware Designs: Conduct component level Electrical Stress Analysis, MTBF, MTBUR and safety compliance studies at various lifecycle phases of the product.
- Failure Analysis: Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis at functional/piece part level and Fault Tree Analysis to identify single point failures critical for the product safety.
- Reliability Testing: Develop Reliability Enhancement Test plan to detect and eliminate design weaknesses, deliver product with mature reliability and determine the product design margins which result in robust design and high in-service reliability.
- Ongoing Design Evaluation: Evaluate and prove ongoing designs meet safety targets with analysis such as Safety evaluations, FMEA, FMEDA, DFA etc.
