We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Steward Kitchen to lead our client premium dining team in the kitchen and manage the daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to quality, service, and excellence. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, managing inventory and equipment, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the premium dining venues, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that high standards for quality and cleanliness are consistently met.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of stewards, ensuring that they understand their roles and responsibilities, and are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the dining venues, ensuring that all staff is trained and adhere to these procedures.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all dishes are served in a timely and efficient manner and that the kitchen and dining areas are always clean and well-maintained.
- Work with the management team to develop strategies for improving guest satisfaction and increasing revenue for the premium dining venues.
- Maintain an inventory of all dining room supplies and ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures, and that all health and safety regulations are met.
- Previous experience in a five-star hotel or similar luxury hospitality environment, with a minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of stewards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- A passion for hospitality, with a commitment to excellence in everything you do.
- A flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and health and safety regulations.
- English well (Preferred)
