Due to the continued success and growth of our AESG team, a fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning Specialist Consultancy, Engineering, and Advisory Firm. We are headquartered in London, Riyadh, Singapore, South Africa, Egypt, Australia, and Dubai, working throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Our areas of expertise are represented in four core verticals: Building Engineering, Planning and Infrastructure, Strategy and Advisory, and Commissioning, Handover, and Asset Management. Job Description AESG are currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our Dubai office. The successful candidate will have experience in global IT procurement or working with international vendors. The ideal candidate fits the below profile:

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and assess IT procurement needs in collaboration with IT and other departments
Source and evaluate vendors for hardware, software, and IT services
Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost-effective solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and service providers
Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ensure all IT procurement activities comply with organisational policies and standards
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements
Collaborate with Operations to manage IT procurement budgets effectively
Track expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities
Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and market trends
Recommend innovative solutions to improve IT operations and reduce costs
Work closely with IT teams to align procurement with technological requirements
Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
Proven experience in IT procurement or supply chain management
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing models
Familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified IT Procurement Professional (CITPP)
Experience in global IT procurement or working with international vendors
