Job Description: Due to the continuing success and growth of our team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firm. At AESG, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Principal Consultant - Energy to join our team (Project-based role). The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of soft and technical skills to effectively engage with clients, manage projects, and deliver impactful energy solutions. You will play a crucial role in the development of energy management strategies while also representing our company with professionalism and expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement energy management strategies tailored to client needs.
- Monitor and evaluate energy savings initiatives and report findings to stakeholders.
- Create detailed energy models and perform Excel modeling to assess policies, programs, and projects.
- Stay updated on renewable energy trends and technologies to advise clients effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients through presentations and reports.
- Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication and representational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Good to have certifications: CEA, CMVP, CEM, CAP.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and technologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in energy consultancy/engineering with Management Consultancy firms.
- Experience with energy projects in the Middle East.
