- Oversee the creation of all written content, ensuring it is compelling, on-brand, and error-free.
- Review and approve copy for all channels, including digital, social, email, in-app messaging, print, and OOH campaigns.
- Ensure all copy is adapted appropriately between English and Arabic, maintaining cultural relevance and accuracy.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes for the copy team to produce quality content, optimizing workflow and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement a copywriting strategy that aligns with each platform's brand identity and creative goals.
- Lead the creative brainstorming process, ensuring messaging is in line with each brand’s vision and resonates with target audiences.
- Act as a key liaison between the copywriting team and creative marketing, design, production, brand, content, and product teams to craft campaign narratives, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Head of Creative to ensure all content, from copy to visuals, is aligned with the overall brand direction.
- Present creative ideas and campaign concepts to senior stakeholders, securing buy-in and approval for copy and messaging.
- Coordinate with external agencies, partners, and vendors when needed to ensure consistency in copy and messaging across various platforms and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Traffic Manager and Project Manager to prioritize projects, manage deadlines, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Introduce tools and best practices to improve the efficiency of the team and the quality of content produced.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and explore new copywriting techniques and tools to keep the team ahead of the curve.
- Analyze the performance of copy across platforms (engagement rates, conversions, etc.) and adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead and mentor the copywriting teams for OSN+ and Anghami, fostering a culture of experimentation, creativity, growth, and collaboration.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring high-quality and consistent output that aligns with the brand's voice.
- Manage the training and development of copywriters to support business growth and campaign needs.
- Promote a positive and creative team environment, encouraging idea sharing and collaboration across departments.
- Experience: 7-10 years of copywriting experience, with 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience in entertainment, music, streaming, or a related industry is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
- Multilingual: Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential and French is a plus, with strong skills in adapting copy between the languages.
- Creative Vision: A strategic thinker with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand copy that connects with audiences and drives business results.
- Cross-Platform Expertise: Experience creating content for multiple channels (digital, social media, OOH, in-app, etc.).
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy in all content.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools).
- Experience with video production and scriptwriting.
- Knowledge of UI/UX writing and content design.
