Elevator Technicians vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE
We are looking for an Elevator Mechanic with decent years of experience in elevator installation/maintenance to join us. You should be able to examine and resolve any mechanical and system malfunctions. Besides, you will be responsible for performing timely maintenance checks. You should have complete knowledge of safety procedures and installation steps. Moreover, your technical background will be helpful in interpreting blueprints. In addition to this, you should be able to assist people stuck in elevators or those facing machine operational issues. Apart from your daily responsibilities, you should also review machine inventory and stock supplies as and when required. You should be physically and mentally fit to perform the job duties. Moreover, you should be willing to commute to different locations and negotiate with clients. Get in touch with us if your mechanical skills and expertise will be an asset to us. - Installing escalators, elevators, and other equipment
- Examining and rectifying mechanical failures
- Testing and responding to electrical system malfunctions
- Servicing and replacing machine parts
- Performing timely maintenance checks and greasing machine parts
- Reviewing inventory and placing orders for supplies as and when needed
- Undertaking regular repairs of elevator parts like switches, control panels, and wires
- Ensuring to maintain the cleanliness of the working area
- Adhering to maintenance and service procedures
- Interpreting blueprints before carrying out installation
- Ensuring all switches, motors, and control signals are in working order
- Undertaking general maintenance checks on a timely basis
- Determining power and load consumption of the elevator
- Helping people stuck in the elevator
- Minimizing friction by lubricating bearings and other controller parts
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience in the Construction industry
- Complete knowledge of elevator systems
- Ability to stand for long periods and to lift heavy loads
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to different locations
- Ability to work for long, flexible hours and on weekends
- Displaying good leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Good troubleshooting and negotiation skills
