To drive profitable trading by independently managing the sourcing and sales of Naphtha, Gas Oil, and Gasoline, leveraging market insights and robust risk management strategies. The incumbent will execute trades, perform market analysis, and leverage relationships within the specified sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage the sourcing and sales of Naphtha, Gas Oil, and Gasoline. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure a steady business flow.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Utilize this information to make informed trading decisions.
  • Review, implement, and oversee robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses. Monitor market conditions and adjust strategy as necessary.
  • Explore and grow client base in the naphtha, refined products, renewable fuels, and feedstocks trading segments.
  • Build and oversee executive relationships with key clients to advance strategic, value-add partnering opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Operations Team to ensure physical commitment performance and prompt solution identification to address customer needs and ensure issue resolution.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract administration, demand forecasting, profitability analysis, and overall improvement.
  • Position TIL as a preferred choice for trading in naphtha, refined products, and renewable circular solutions.
Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical commodity trading, specifically in Naphtha, Gas Oil, and Gasoline.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade flows, including pricing dynamics, market players, and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience in managing all aspects of trade execution with an excellent understanding of contracting and financial instruments like L/C's.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex trading environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high scalability and sustainable business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural stakeholders.
  • Conversant to work in IT-driven autonomous systems.
