We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing various sports programs and activities. This role requires a strong understanding of sports management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of participants, coaches, and volunteers. The Sports Coordinator will ensure that all programs run smoothly, meet the needs of participants, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. This position involves working closely with other staff members, community organizations, and external partners to promote and enhance our sports offerings. The successful candidate will have a passion for sports, a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities

  1. Plan and organize sports programs and activities.
  2. Schedule events and coordinate logistics.
  3. Ensure programs adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
  4. Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements.
  5. Promote sports programs within the community.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports.
  7. Collaborate with staff, community organizations, and external partners.
  8. Handle participant inquiries and resolve issues.
  9. Monitor and maintain sports facilities and equipment.
  10. Prepare promotional materials and manage social media presence.
  11. Organize and lead meetings with coaches and volunteers.
  12. Ensure inclusivity and accessibility in all programs.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to participants and their families.
  14. Assist in fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
Skills
  1. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  4. Knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  5. Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  6. Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking.
  7. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
