Houseman

A Houseman within Waldorf Astoria Kuwait effectively demonstrates the Waldorf Astoria Kuwait Service Delivery Standards through understanding, supporting, and participating in all elements. Responsible for ensuring that all guest requests are delivered on time to provide an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Runner would also be required to maintain cleanliness of the pantries and take receipt of stock in the pantries. What will I be doing?

• Comply with all Hilton Worldwide company policies.
• Comply with all Security Procedures implemented within the hotel and department.
• Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
• The management reserves the right to change/extend this statement if necessary, at any point during employment.
• The holder of this statement can be asked to take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, within a reasonable framework.
• Ensure linen is available for all departments as requested.
• Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes, rejecting any exceptions.
• Know how to read and use Synergy requests.
• Guarantee job completion in a timely and efficient manner.
• Deliver assigned amenities to the guest room.
• Cooperate and work with employees from all departments, particularly Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B.
• Prepare rollaway beds and baby cribs.
• Carry out stock takes as requested.
• Ensure par stocks are maintained.
• Take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage.
• Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively.
• Oversee the issuing of linen via a requisition system.
• Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks set by the hotel management.
