Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily refurbishment operations, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity.
  2. Manage the end-to-end refurbishment process from diagnostics, repairs, parts replacement, testing, and packaging.
  3. Optimize workflow to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery of refurbished products.
  4. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of at least 20 technicians and support staff involved in the refurbishment process.
  5. Ensure team members are trained on the latest repair and refurbishment techniques.
  6. Establish and maintain clear performance metrics and regularly review team performance.
Quality Control:
  1. Implement and maintain quality assurance standards for all refurbished laptops.
  2. Conduct regular audits of the refurbishment process to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  3. Identify areas for improvement in quality control and suggest changes to enhance product reliability.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
  1. Monitor inventory levels for parts, tools, and other necessary supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  2. Collaborate with procurement teams to source necessary components and negotiate with suppliers.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Process Improvement:
  1. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and lead initiatives to streamline processes.
  2. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  3. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production, quality, and team performance.
Compliance and Safety:
  1. Ensure the refurbishment facility adheres to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  2. Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
Customer Satisfaction:
  1. Work closely with customer service teams to resolve any issues related to refurbished products.
  2. Implement measures to improve customer satisfaction through quality and reliability of refurbished laptops.
