Job Title: Lead Product OwnerLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesOrganization Unit PurposeThe Data Analytics unit translates data into actionable insights and visualizations. The unit provides data support for key strategic and organizational transformation projects including business insights to business leaders. The unit strives to automate data extracts, reports, and dashboards to the fullest extent possible. The Product Owner Lead manages the team of product owners and ensures alignment of deliverables with strategic goals to maximize value and impact to BUs.Job PurposeThe Product Owner Lead manages a team of product owners driving the development and execution of successful data capabilities and solutions. They provide strategic direction, ensure alignment with business goals, and cultivate a high-performing data product management function.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement data product strategy:Develop and implement the data product roadmap/strategy ensuring integration with the organization's strategic goal.Manage cross-functional relationships with data engineering, visualization, analytics, and delivery teams.Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.Manage the Product Backlog and Prioritize User needs:Oversee the product backlog, prioritizing features, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving product delivery.Identify and implement data product management methodologies optimizing workflow and maximizing efficiency.Champion data-driven decision making demonstrating the value of data-powered solutions.User Adoption:Represent data product management at leadership meetings and advocate for product needs and approvals.Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless product integration and adoption.Identify and implement tools and resources to enhance data product management processes.Define performance metrics and KPIs for data product success and team effectiveness.Build and Develop a team of high-performing Data Product Owners:Lead and manage the team.Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for development.Person Specifications10+ years of experience in product management, data analytics, or similar leadership roles (preferably in banking and financial services).Leadership and managerial skills managing a team of product owners.Strong understanding of data product development life cycle and methodologies.Strong analytical and strategic thinking.Communication and interpersonal skills.Influencing and negotiation skills.Certification in product management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Agile) and skills in Project management and collaboration tools: JIRA/Confluence are preferred.
