Expert Career Support & Opportunities for Finance Professionals

Responsibilities:

Work with unit business team to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Develop, implement, and maintain systems of effective internal controls within the units and work closely with assurance providers such as internal control, internal audit, and external audit to ensure internal controls over financial reporting are effective.
Collaborate with other departments, including corporate finance functions (incl. shared services), revenue cycle management, and operations, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee the annual financial audit for the business units including relevant reporting.
Maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory and financial changes, and provide insights and recommendations to hospital leadership.
Build, manage, develop, and inspire a team of direct and indirect reports in the achievement of business and functional objectives.
Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of financial and business objectives through collaboration, information sharing, and communication.

Skills:

Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, MBA Finance).
Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience in a financial business role or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
Experience with financial systems and technology, including ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and also with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in Healthcare accounting and finance.
