A Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the organization and its employees. The primary responsibility is to protect the premises, assets, personnel, and information from potential threats or unauthorized access. Below is a detailed job description for a Security Officer:Responsibilities:Surveillance and Monitoring:Utilize security cameras and other monitoring equipment to keep a watchful eye on the premises.Conduct regular rounds to ensure the security of the entire facility.Access Control:Monitor and control access points to the facility.Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises and ensure that only authorized personnel have access.Emergency Response:Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.Take appropriate action during emergencies, such as fire, theft, or medical situations.Security Checks:Conduct routine checks of the facility to identify and address potential security risks.Inspect and report any suspicious activities or items.Customer Service:Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional and considerate manner.Provide assistance and information as needed.Report Writing:Document and report incidents, observations, and any security-related activities.Maintain accurate records of daily activities.Work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.Compliance:Enforce company policies and procedures related to security.Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in security or related field.Strong observational and communication skills.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.Physical fitness for security tasks.Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.Salary: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month (includes accommodation & transportation)Job Type: Full-time
