VAC9407 - Executive, Events B2B2C / Phono Subsidiary of Ooredoo Kuwait Field: Business & Consumer Sales Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent Location: Kuwait - Kuwait City Closing date: 31-Jul-2024 The Company: Ooredoo is an organisation on the move. Ooredoo's future is bright, and you can be part of our ongoing success. The Purpose: Sell Ooredoo services, upgrade the rate plans and influence non-Ooredoo customers with new sales offers. Maintain existing relationships and fulfill monthly targets, especially clients classified as “B2B2C Customers for Ooredoo.” Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  1. Sales:
    • Sell Ooredoo services and products (post-paid activation & mobile accessories or any other products provided by the company related to telecom, etc.) over market channels.
    • Sell Ooredoo services and products to potential customers “High Value Rates Consumers.”
    • Utilize a creative, innovative mindset and skilled personality to close deals and achieve the targets set by Ooredoo.
    • Take the initiative to stay well-informed about the latest expertise in the relevant field.
    • Make sales plans independently for potential customers; refer to Line Manager when necessary.
    • Provide ongoing support to customers “existing and new” by reporting and gaining approvals where necessary.
    • Follow procedures to activate lines, services, and Ported In customers to ensure minimum delays and follow the sales validation process (KYC).
    • Achieve optimum levels of customer feedback through written reports on challenges and inquiries.
    • Ensure standards for high-quality customer service.
  2. Quality Control of Staff Daily Based Activities:
    • Ensure that drawers are opened and closed as per Ooredoo finance standards on a daily basis.
    • Before closing the cash register or cash drawer, ensure that all transactions are in place.
    • Handle cash at the store as well as collect daily sales and other necessary reports.
    • Receive payments and issue receipts for sale items and outstanding accounts, ensuring accuracy of transactions and correctness of data input to the financial system.
    • Process collection reports on a daily basis according to financial processes.
    • Ensure that all transactions submitted match the request without any variance.
    • Report and deliver the daily cash and credit card vouchers for the Ooredoo services which require applications.
    • Attend all training and coaching set by management.
  3. SAF Management:
    • Ensure that all signatures are done by employees and customers in the requested places on SAF.
    • Ensure that all transactions are checked properly to submit to the Head Office on a daily basis to avoid any claw back.
    • The signed SAF is to be sent back to CCQC and a scanned copy is to be uploaded in RAS as an attachment.
    • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge, and innovations in relevant fields of expertise.
    • Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors to ease branch operations and assist in the absence of Branch Manager or Team Leader.
    • Up-sell and promote company digital platforms and direct customers to process their basic services through it.
    • Contribute to the department communication plan through attendance at regular team meetings, events, and preparation of requested reports.
    • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
    • Phono management has the right to reallocate sales executives to any other division during crisis mode.
Qualifications:
  • Higher secondary school degree or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
  • Intensive knowledge of local market conditions. MS Office skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English; written and spoken.
