Manage daily activities of the branches to ensure high level of productivity and quality services by motivating the team. Develop, maintain and strengthen business relationships with customers and companies in general from any type by doing a regular visit to their premises to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction standards in the designated area.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Parts Manager in preparing annual spare parts targets, and set monthly targets accordingly (Gross Profit, branch wise, export, etc.) and continuously monitor the achievement and take necessary proactive action in order to achieve given target.
- Manage daily tactical activities of assigned branch in relation to sales and operations by monitoring the efficiency and productivity to ensure that the team achieves required standards of customer service and target achievement.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including growth areas (in country or outside the country), trends, new customers, partnerships, - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Visit prospective customers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and/or requirement-specific solutions.
- Work with the customer to establish a common set of goals and objectives linked to the account plan with a focus on value creation, mutual ownership and execution.
- Negotiate prices or terms of spare parts sales or service agreements as per set guidelines, and secure the orders or renew the orders.
- Ensure proper issuance and control of subsidized spare parts related to promotional activities.
- Provide sales status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as may be required by the Sales Manager to ensure necessary actions are taken.
- Provide feedback to Parts Manager on market conditions, competitive products, policies, distribution activities, advertising initiatives, etc., that will aid decisions on sales strategies in his area.
- Assist credit control team in collection resolving customer disputes.
- Conduct perpetual inventory check of the branch to verify stock management request for replenishment when necessary.
- Comply with the company QMS requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications- Min. Higher Secondary, Diploma
- Bachelor degree would be preferable
- Min 7 years in the UAE of selling commercial vehicle Spare Parts
- Selling Spare Parts and Service contract would be an added advantage
- Knowledgeable of export market would be an added advantage
- Product Knowledge: knowledge of Parts items buses and trucks. Proficient in operating parts catalogue (electronic/manual).
- Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Market Knowledge: Knowledge of target customer, industry, territory, etc.
- Language: Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), Arabic and Hindi would be an added advantage.
- Persuasion: Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour.
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Negotiation: Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
- Social Perceptiveness: Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
