- Role: Project Engineer
- Location: Dubai
- Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable – Long term contract
- University degree in Electrical/Computer or Software Engineering
- PMP Certified.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Min. 5-8 years related work experience
- Excellent command of written & spoken English; Arabic and French are an asset.
- Experience in Automation and Protection Systems in Utilities and/or Oil & Gas Protection and Control Relays/Schemes
- Substation Automation Systems EPMS/BMS solution projects PLC, SCADA, RTU & DCS – Advantage
- Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in MS Project
- Good user of SAP
- Coordinate internal as well as external resources for the proper execution of projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget as per the contract conditions.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all concerned stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Follow up & manage contract negotiations in cooperation with contract management & sales teams.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Prepare project financial reports and present to management.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Drive new opportunities & Variation orders during project execution.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Maintain good relations with the customer & company staff and to provide their satisfaction while protecting Company rights as per contract and as per long term commitment for customer satisfaction.
- Utilize company's monitoring tools to follow-up and monitor projects.
- Effective communication skills.
- Well organized, result oriented, pro-active & a good team player.
- Driving License – is mandatory.
- Strong motivation and interest in learning new technologies, working on projects and travelling on frequent business trips to customers inside UAE and outside UAE.
