We are recruiting a Senior Projects Engineer - Civil to join our exceptional Projects team. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in Projects who is personable and capable of quickly establishing their credibility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Head of Projects department, individually handling the projects.

Proven experience in building construction, high-end villas, majlis, and medium-sized infrastructure works.

Team player, coordinating follow-up with consultants and contractors.

Follow up on the program of works; delays in projects shall be duly notified to the project consultant.

Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.

Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status.

Sound knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.

Advanced MS Office skills; different kinds of reports preparation.

Familiarity with rules, regulations, and best practices in building construction.

Familiar with building construction methods, sequence, and materials.

Experience in structural works (RCC and Steel structure) - reading drawings and installation/execution works.

Familiar with different types of finishing works (materials, methods, installation, etc.) for flooring, wall finishes, ceiling works, waterproofing works, block work, plaster, stone cladding, etc.

Knowledge and experience of site works in concrete and waterproofing works.

Repairing and renovation works in high-end villas/palace-type buildings.

Coordination with electromechanical works at different stages of works (knowledge of coordination drawings, builder's works drawings, etc.).

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Progress payment certification, advance payment issuance follow-up, review of variation, and commercials.

Scope of works, specification preparation as per standard construction practice by using best branded construction materials.

Project handover closeout documents review and recording.

Execution excellence, teamwork, leadership, and results orientation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Minimum 15 years total experience and 10 years Gulf/UAE experience.

Familiar with local authorities' regulations and guidelines such as ADM, DM, ADDC, Civil defense, Etisalat, etc.

PMP is an added advantage.

DM / ADM licensed.
