SUPERVISOR, SCAFFOLDINGAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 10/16/2018To liaise with users for day-to-day scaffolding requirements and provide practical satisfaction services through good planning in utilizing manpower and material.Conduct inspection and monitor all scaffolding activities at site, notifying safe usage for works through tagging system.Register and monitor all scaffolding materials used in various locations to ensure they are traceable and returned to the store as soon as the service is no longer requested.Conduct inspection on the scaffolding inventory to ensure it is well maintained and safe for use.Liaise with UZ planning and users for peak activities to ensure adequate manpower and material resources.Ensure that all scaffolding materials supplied by external contractors for site works comply with acceptable standards and that all scaffolding activities adhere to the code of practices.Specify and raise material purchase requests, ensuring that the material is delivered in conformance with the specifications or equivalent.Monitor site scaffolding contracted personnel performance, coaching to enhance their performance. Conduct toolbox talks to ensure that all scaffolding activities are carried out in a safe manner.Quantify and specify scaffolding material requirements during the yearly budget exercise.Skill Seta. Certified member of a recognized professional body, i.e., advanced level CITB or equivalent.b. 10 years broad-base experience in the scaffolding industry, with 5 years at the Supervisor level and a minimum of 5 years in the petrochemical/oil-related industry.c. Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.d. Proficient in using MS Office applications.
