IT Director - Kuwait City, الكويت - Careers Ladder

We are looking for an experienced IT Director with local Kuwait experience to oversee all IT functions. You will manage a team of IT managers, technology operations, and new IT systems and policies. An excellent IT Director is knowledgeable in IT and computer systems, with a solid technical background and ability to manage and motivate people. The ideal candidate will create and implement IT policies and systems to meet objectives, ensuring IT systems and people are effective within budget, time, and company specifications. Responsibilities

• Oversee all technology operations, evaluating them according to established goals
• Establish IT policies and systems to support strategies set by upper management
• Analyze business requirements to determine technology needs
• Purchase cost-effective technological equipment and software
• Inspect the use of equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise professionals to provide guidance
• Control budget and report on expenditure
• Build relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contracts

• Proven experience as IT Director or similar role
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems
• Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, etc.
• Experience in controlling IT budget
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication abilities
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field. MSc/MA will be a plus.
