Who are we recruiting for:

We are recruiting for a highly qualified and determined individual to join our client, who is a globally recognised LNG infrastructure company. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to lead the company's commercial strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping its continued growth and success.

What will you be doing:

As the Senior Vice President Commercial (SVP Commercial), you will:

Develop and execute a comprehensive and refreshed commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in LNG terminals and LNG infrastructure projects.

Lead a business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the LNG/oil and gas sector.

Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.

Oversee contract negotiations and provide strategic guidance on optimizing terms and conditions to maximize profitability.

Collaborate with project management teams to ensure the successful and timely execution of LNG terminal and EPC projects.

Engage with government agencies and regulatory bodies, representing the company's interests while navigating regulatory challenges.

Manage financial oversight, working closely with the finance team on forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis to drive cost optimisation and revenue growth.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Are you the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate will be:

Qualified with an MBA in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

A leader with a proven track record of senior leadership in business development/commercial roles in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on LNG terminals, FSRUs, or LNG EPC projects.

Experienced in developing and executing successful commercial strategies within the LNG sector.

Strong in business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial expertise.

Having technical understanding of FSRUs, LNG terminal design, construction, and operations.

Equipped with an extensive network of industry contacts and relationships.

Motivated and focused on driving business development and revenue growth.
