Roles and responsibilities Genuine service personality, with high EQ. Minimum 2 years of similar experience in a 5-star hospitality industry. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience for those required to manage teams. A strong command of spoken English is required; additional language is an asset. Minimum of a high school diploma is required; College degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred. Ensure all operational tasks are conducted in line with the service standards and procedures. Go the extra (s)mile where possible. Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed. Pro-actively communicate with fellow Ambassadors, always with the guests' interests at heart. Desired candidate profile Program Promotion: Actively promote recreational programs, events, and activities to the community. Guest Engagement: Interact with participants to encourage involvement and gather feedback about programs. Assistance and Support: Provide information about schedules, registrations, and available facilities, ensuring a positive experience for all participants. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing recreational events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet community needs. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies. Essential Skills: Communication: Strong verbal skills for effective interaction with community members. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and connect with diverse audiences. Organizational Skills: Capability to manage events and activities efficiently. Knowledge of Recreation: Understanding of recreational programming and community interests. Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for recreation that inspires others to participate.
