Senior Charge Nurse / Unit ManagerNew Sourcing International (NSI)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEPosted In: 9/10/2013Job Description:My client is a specialist maternity hospital in UAE, providing leading-edge comprehensive care for women's needs and facilitating a safe childbirth experience.Your job responsibilities will consist of the following:Takes a lead role in coordinating hospital services during their shift.Supports an environment that allows staff to acquire skills and develop new ideas that ensure commitment to the organizational goals.Addresses immediate legal and ethical dilemmas in a professional, collaborative manner and refers to the relevant person for action.Participates in the recruitment process when necessary.Takes a lead role in managing disasters, codes, and incidents as per the Organisation's policy and procedures.Provides leadership in critical thinking, conflict management, and problem-solving.Provides leadership in support of evidence-based practice, quality initiatives, and promotion of a healthy workplace environment.Maintains appropriate contact with the organisation's nursing executive/administrator "on call" providing timely and accurate information.Monitors and evaluates appropriate utilisation of staff in collaboration with the nursing team.Responsible for ensuring that bed allocation and staff skill mix is appropriate for patient condition.Job RequirementsExperience: Min: 6 YearsCareer Level: JuniorJob Type: Full TimeVacancies: 1 Open PositionSalary: NegotiableGender: AnyDegree Level: Bachelor's degreeMajor: NursingLanguages: AnyOwn a Car: AnyHave Driving License: AnyJob Skills Required:Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration from an accredited program.Valid/Current national license.BLS certification.Desired:Certificate of post-graduate diploma in nursing or healthcare or management or administration field.International accreditation experience.Required:NLT 6 years clinical experience in an appropriate & relevant healthcare settings post qualification.NLT 2 years in Senior Charge Nurse (S.C.N.) position, OR NLT 3 years in a Charge Nurse Position.About The CompanyNew Sourcing International (NSI) is a leading international group specializing in talent acquisition services around the globe.
