Our strategic international and local partnerships alongside our expertise have positioned us as trailblazers in the global transition towards data-driven economies.Job DescriptionJob Role: As Quant is a rapidly growing organization with increasing financial mandates that require to be effectively managed, we are seeking a Finance Director that has prior experience in this industry, and is capable of undertaking and leading the financial responsibilities being: Accounting Management, Treasury Management, Tax and Zakat Management, Reporting Management, Investment Management, Auditing Management, Partners Management, and Knowledge Base Management. This role will also involve providing support for other operational and strategic functions within Quant.Job Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and execute financial objectives of the organization and assure that other departments are conducting financially appropriate market practices.Lead the team members in the F&A Unit to execute the aforementioned responsibilities and develop their capabilities as needed.Prepare and monitor organization budgets and ensure that short and long term objectives of the organization are being achieved through the allocated funds.Issue financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.Maintain an accurate filing and record keeping system for all transactions, financial statements, and organization documents.Engage with CPA to provide required documentation to issue the organization's annual financial statements.Enhance and periodically update financial governance policies and procedures, addressing treasury management, accounting standards, corporate finance practices, among other relevant matters.Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.Monitor and manage the treasury of the organization, including AR/AP to ensure that it maintains positive cash flow and relations with its partners, banks and financial institutions.Ensure proficient service desk support is provided for the organization's partners and staff so that financial requests are resolved as per service-level agreement.Prepare and submit all financial reports required for compliance purposes, including but not limited to Tax and Zakat authorities.Review the monthly payroll with the HR Unit to ensure its accuracy and disbursement in its required timeframe.Provide financial insight and analysis periodically with suggestive actions to drive the business performance of the organization.Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.Stay up to date with investment market trends and best practices and more particularly in the data industry.Develop and lead the investment and financing initiatives of the organization.Provide financial reports and partake in developing investment pitches for potential investors.Ensure the organization periodically issues investor positive digital and printed media for current and potential investors through newsletters and other methods in collaboration with the marketing department.Act as liaison with all partners and stakeholders relevant to the F&A Unit such CPAs, accounting firms, bank relation managers, potential investors, etc.RequirementsPreferred Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.Preferred Personal Qualities:Charismatic, Persistent and Agile.Analytical.Strong leadership qualities.Aptitude to work in a diverse environment.Proficiency in English and Arabic.Effective time management.Skills Required:Proficient in Microsoft office, especially excel.Proficient in reporting and BI tools such as: Zoho Analytics - Tableau - PowerBI.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Experience with analyzing financial statements.Liaison experience with relevant partners such as Bank Account Managers, CPAs, etc.Experience with Zoho Books or similar bookkeeping systems.Company Sponsored Incentives:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), where company shares are given to the employee based on a specific mechanism based on duration of employment alongside milestones achieved.The Career Development Plan, where the Company supports the employee's growth by covering the expenses tied to gaining certificates that are pre-approved in accordance with the employee's career development plan.The Profit Incentive Plan, comprised of a bonus payment pool based on the Company's generated revenue.The Milestone Incentive Plan, awarded based on achievements relevant to enhancing the functions within your department or achieving a key Company goal. Further information regarding the policy may be provided upon request and provided policies may change according to vendor's change in their policy plan structures.Leaves & Holidays Policy as per Saudi Labor laws, some of which being:Annual Leave: 22 business days of paid Annual Leave per contract year.Holidays: paid Holidays inclusive of Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, Saudi National Day and Saudi Founding Day.Compassionate Leave: Paid Compassionate Leave of seven 7 calendar days, in the event of death of employee's parent, spouse, or child.Sick Leave: Properly documented sick leave with full pay for up to 30 calendar days; and an additional 60 calendar days at 75% of salary, during each year of service.As an employee of the Company, you will be eligible to participate in a number of Company-sponsored benefits and allowances, including:Employees who do not receive housing by the Company receive a Housing Allowance of 25% of the employee's basic salary.Employees who do not receive transportation means by the Company receive a Transportation Allowance of 15% of the employee's basic salary.Employees who do not receive communication means by the Company receive a Communication Allowance of 10% of the employee's basic salary.
