ABOUT JOB

Our Company is currently seeking an Office Assistant (Part-Time) to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

As an Office Assistant (Part-Time), you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources and Plant Management team efficiently and effectively while providing exceptional customer service skills. This role will also ensure the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services. You will report directly to the Plant Manager.

What You Will Do

Always present and represent the company in a professional manner.

Answer phone lines, transfer calls, and e-mail missed phone call messages as needed.

When taking applications, administer applications, and pre-employment testing as directed.

Train on AP and assume duties:

Collect and match-up all purchase orders, packing lists, bills of lading, and invoices.

Process and deliver accounts payable invoices and support information as directed by accounting procedures.

Supply weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly information and reports as requested.

Keep all associated paper and electronic files in a neat and orderly system.

Enter/monitor payroll data in an accurate and effective manner.

Collect, enter, and supply all payroll and employee benefits information as directed by respective corporate department.

Ultimately, responsible for the accuracy of assigned data and reports to corporate departments and the Plant Manager.

Maintain an organized and professional work area.

Manage and abide by all company policies and procedures.

Participate in and follow all safety training and guidelines as directed by Plant Manager.

Efficiently communicate with all employees as needed.

Ensure accurate and complete office records in the areas of payables, payroll, and invoicing.

Communicate closely with production managers to identify departmental reporting and data entry deficiencies as well as any other assigned reporting task.

Who You Are

High school diploma or GED

2-4 years of related office experience

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, or processes.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
